Confirmed in December 2009, the Audi Q5 Hybrid has made its official debut at the 81st edition of the Geneva Motor Show. The model was designed in order to be one of the most fuel-efficient crossovers on the market and it can be distinguished from the standard version by the chrome exhaust pipes, the exclusive 19-inch alloy rims and the “hybrid” badges.
The Q5 Hybrid will be powered by a 2.0-liter TFSI gasoline engine that cranks out 208 hp (211 PS / 155 kW) and an electric motor that offers 44 hp (45 PS / 33 kW). The crossover’s combined power figure is 241 hp (245 PS / 180 kW) and 354 lb.-ft (480 Nm) of torque, allowing the car to do the 0-60 mph sprint in a respectable 7.1 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 138 mph (222 km/h).
