The Lotus Exige is a track junkie's dream come true - providing breathtaking speed and unmatched dynamic handling. However, it is not steep hiking and luxury, making it less suitable for everyday use than some of its rivals.

Demands of 2009 is designed for one thing - performance. In fact, almost every aspect of it was designed with performance in mind. If you can understand that you will not mind its low density of the cabin, renouncing luxury and comfort to save weight. Disappointing? Maybe. But in the end, it is useful. In fact, Autobytel says: "Flamboyant and fun, basic and effective, there are few cars on the market built strictly at the joy of driving. The Lotus Exige S is one of the few, of the objective of building cars that are a thrill behind the wheel rather than a chore. We need more cars like this. "

If you're in the market for a track of the beast with a machine, but can not stomach the price of heavy demand, consider a Honda S2000 Club Racer. It's not as attractive as the Exige, but offers amazing performance for an affordable price. In addition, it has a removable hardtop aluminum - which provides relief on hot days at the beach.

The Exige'09 is available in two finishes, S and S 240. Both feature a 1.8-liter supercharged four-cylinder engine.

Italian industrial firm Tazzari Zero's

Italian industrial firm Tazzari has announced preliminary specs and launched a new website for its plug-in auto, the Zero. Measuring 113.5 inches long and sporting 15-inch wheels, the city-bound electric car weighs in at 1,200 pounds -- 312 of that from the lithium-ion Fe battery. It'll handle 88 miles with a full charge that takes 9 hours to fill, but you can reportedly juice up to 80% in just 50 minutes. Top speed is 56 MPH, so don't expect to be driving this on the highway, and it can go from 0 to 31 in under 5 seconds. The company says it's due out later this year in Europe and the Carribean for less than 20,000 Euros ($25,760), and yes, there's a dozen Crayola-inspired colors available. Hit up the official site for a trailer.
