(For full text with comments please click on the title)

The V12 engine in the Ferrari Enzo was the first of a new generation for Ferrari, the engine is a 65 degree V12 with 4 valves per cylinder, dual overhead cams and variable valve timing, Bosch ME7 fuel injection and is naturally aspirated, all that produces 485kw (651hp) at 7800rpm with a redline at 8200rpm.

The Ferrari Enzo was built in 2003 using technology taken directly from Formula One, which gave the Ferrari Enzo such things as a carbon fibre body, F1 style sequential shift and carbon ceramic brakes.
Also featured were active aerodynamics, after a down force of 775kgs is achieved at 300km/h the computer takes over to maintain that down force.
